“Erin D’Arcy has played an important role in the ongoing development of my relationship with my dog.  Her puppy classes provided me with a foundation of skills and techniques that I could use to make my dog a happy, healthy, and engaged learner.

Her socialization classes continued to build upon that foundation; teaching him manners and proper behavior during play with other dogs and people.

I have continued to rely on Erin outside of the many classes she offers. Erin also provides dog walking services.  With a young daughter at home, I can’t always get my dog out for the long runs he would like. It’s great to know I can always rely on Erin no matter what the weather.

Erin is always more than happy to offer advice or assistance when needed. She gives constructive feedback on the conduct of my dog with other people and animals and provides me with ideas to use to alter certain behaviors. Erin has even attempted swimming lessons for my dog in our backyard pool to ease his fear of swimming in deep water!

Most importantly, Erin is genuine. I see how happy she is when she is with her dog Irish, Shamrock or with other dogs. She is truly doing what she loves and the dogs love her for it. I am thankful that Erin D’Arcy is part of my dogs life.”

“Already owning 2 miniature dachshunds that had not had training due to work schedules, when I got Bacardi, I knew I wanted to put her in training since my schedule finally allowed me the time.

Anyone who owns or has been around miniature dachshunds knows they are a stubborn, hard to train breed!  Bacardi joined Darcy’s Dog Training for puppy class when she was just 9 weeks old and after seeing how well she picked up on things, I decided I would be keeping her in training and now we are in level 2!  Erin is an amazing trainer who has such patience with the dogs and owners like me who are paranoid of their dog getting hurt.

Bacardi has had a few issues with being afraid of big dogs and Erin has really helped her to become more confident with herself and I couldn’t be happier.

I can’t say how happy I am with the way Erin shows each technique using one of the dogs from class so that everyone can see how it’s done, and then coaches if you are having issues doing it so that both you and your dog are doing it right.  I appreciate how Erin not only works on training my dog, but on training me at the same time so that Bacardi and I have a closer bond.

Erin’s patience, understanding and exceptional talent to connect with dogs continue to amaze me and I can’t imagine taking Bacardi to anyone else!”

“I have been a client of Erin Darcy’s for over one year. Erin has proved in that time, to be an exceptionally devoted businesswoman and humanitarian, both to her four legged friends and their owners! Erin loves what she does and it shows. As a RN, working 12 hr. shifts in a rotating schedule where no two weeks are alike…Erin is reliable, flexible, dependable and dedicated. My little Boston Terrier Sawyer loves when she comes to walk him while I’m at work. When I return home Sawyer is calm and I can tell he has been cared for and well exercised.

With Erin, I have a peace of mind that is invaluable. I highly recommend Erin Darcy as a highly skilled animal trainer and advocate, for all the wonderful professional services she offers her clientele.”

“I am delighted to recommend Erin D’Arcy with her gentle and confident approach in handling dogs. She is knowledgeable and understands their needs. She has a friendly, approachable manner and accommodates however she can to meet people’s schedules as well. With great enthusiasm, my dog Reuben anticipates his walks with her and his buddies that she brings. It is an accomplishment and quite the sight to see her walking multiple dogs who are engaged, tails wagging, tongues hanging in happy faces! It is a testament to her ability to relate so positively with such a variety of dogs and personalities.”

Erin was referred to us by a good friend who has been using her dog walking services for years. Erin has been walking our 2 puppies since they were 9 weeks old. They are now a year and half old and are well adjusted and are very social with people and other dogs. This is certainly due to Erin’s approach to dog training and obvious love for the animals. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Erin’s services to family and friends, whether it be dog walking, social classes or training.

When I got my golden retriever puppy I did a lot of research to checkout where it was best to take him for puppy training. Overall, I found D’Arcy’s Dog Training and Pet Services to be the best. I’m so glad I took my 5 month old puppy there. Erin was great at teaching us how to train our puppies and was fantastic with the dogs. Her german shepherd, Irish was her training dog for demonstration. Irish was great with all the puppies. My golden retriever, Quincy, finished level one and level two of the puppy classes. Because both my husband and I work we inquired about having Erin walk Quincy with her dogs and others during the week to break up his day. Quincy is now 7 1/2 years old and has been walking with Erin for 7 years. Even though I have not been working for the last three years, Quincy continues to go for walks with Erin, Irish and Shamrock one day a week and boy does he look forward to that. He gets so excited to see Erin and the other dogs. I couldn’t stop him from completely going with his friends even though I was home, it would break his heart. Erin helped us through food aggression when Quincy was little. I had the opportunity to go with my neighbour to one of Erin’s classes recently and observe how the neighbour’s small dog interacted with some of the bigger pups and Shamrock. The bigger pups got a bit rough with the little puppy so Erin separated them and let Shamrock play with the little pup and Shamrock was so good with him, laying down to play, so gentle. I can not say enough about Erin and if my Quincy could talk he would tell you how much he loves her and all the fun he has with her and her dogs. Erin is the only person I will let walk my dog, I trust her completely. She would never put your dog in harm’s way. I have no worries when he’s with her. So in conclusion, all I can say, is do yourself and your puppy a favour and go see Erin at D’Arcy’s Dog Training and Pet Services.

We brought our rescue pup Lucy to meet Erin for an initial obedience and socialization assessment. Lucy took to Erin and her dog Shamrock right away, and we continued to bring her for two levels of training.

During both levels, class sizes were small and everyone had an opportunity for one on one instruction. Erin’s calm, positive approach is exactly what we were looking for for our big girl. Lucy was able to interact with dogs of various sizes and temperaments, from small, shy dogs to Shamrock’s energetic vocal personality. This was a positive experience for Lucy, and helped her learn to read social cues and respond appropriately. Lucy and Shamrock have enjoyed spending time together ever since.
While the indoor socialization was not a good fit for Lucy (it is important to know what works for your dog) Erin offered group walks as an alternative. These quickly became something we looked forward to every week. During these outings Shamrock’s example helped us with Lucy’s recall training, and her interaction with the other dogs was always positive and energetic.

Erin’s love of dogs and her commitment to their well-being is obvious. Her attention and instruction has helped Lucy become a calm, confident, well-mannered member of our family.

Thank you Erin.

We have attended Level 1, Level 2 puppy class, and socialization class with Erin. Erin is very kind, compassionate, responsible, caring, and really understands the Canines. Darcy’s Dog training is excellent value for the fee. Erin helped us immensely with socializing our slightly timid GSD. Erin’s dog Shamrock gave our dog a lot of confidence. He is able to go anywhere, with any dog and is extremely well adjusted. Erin really spoke about the importance of early socialization which doesn’t mean just taking your dog out for walk. She is a constant connection for our dog, and we highly recommend her. She also does great things in the community with some elders. Can’t say enough good things. We are looking forward to going into the next level of training with Erin.

We have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Erin for the past 13 years or so. Her passion and love of dogs is inspiring and contagious. She has been invaluable in helping us with our Shelties, Brody and Quinn, and our most recent Sheltie project, Mackenzie. The vast array of services, from puppy socialization, to obedience and agility classes to dog sitting when we went to our son’s destination wedding, is impressive. Her knowledge and guidance has been extremely valuable, she is always there when needed. I would highly recommend Erin for any dog related needs.

Last year we took our newly rescued dog to Erin for a private lesson, to first have him assessed and address behaviour issues. I highly recommend this, if you have a rescue dog! Erin assessed him and gave us tips on his specific issues. We then enrolled our dog in grade 2 to continue to work on training. Classes were less formal than another facility we have attended in the past(McCann’s), but we honestly did not learn less. We actually got more attention with the small class, and it was a good value for the money.

We continue to attend weekly socialization classes to give our dog healthy social interactions with a variety of dogs. This continues to be a great experience. Erin divides the small and large dogs at the beginning of every class and slowly integrates the groups, as long as the puppies are ready. She is attentive to dog body language and will tell us to ‘leash up’ our dogs if she perceives any concerning behaviours.

Energy is ALWAYS high at the beginning of a class, but that is normal excitement by the dogs. It is a great way for owners to learn about dog interactions and understand what are normal behaviours.

Our dog is part German Shepherd and is very vocal when he initiates play with another dog. Dog owners that were not familiar with that, learnt that he was just an enthusiastic dog saying, “play with me!”. A learning experience for owners, as well as dogs! Erin also always brings her own dog, Shamrock, who is very well trained and always good with all the dogs.

If you have a dog that has had a previous negative experience with another dog, it is imperative that you notify Erin ahead of time, or at the beginning of a class. It is a very hectic time upon entry, and you should not expect her to interview you!

Over the past months, I have watched Erin work with owners of an abused rescue dog that was fearful of people and dogs. She coached us in Socialization Class on how to behave around this dog, and now this dog will play with our dog and is more comfortable with people. Truly an amazing transformation, thanks to her knowledge and patience.

The facility is not fancy, but my dog has not complained yet! 😉

After we adopted our 7 months old puppy from the Cambridge Humane Society last year, we knew we required the services of an expert to help us train our very social, confident and fearless canine into a pet that was easy to manage and well behaved in the community. After reading a brochure at a vet clinic, we turned to Erin of D’Arcy’s Dog Training to help us deal with our challenges. One year and a half has now passed but we still regularly participate in various programs offered and have reaped many benefits from our association with Erin. We have participated in 2 sessions of dog training and each week learned new techniques to practice with our pet. Erin was patient and understanding with us as we tried our best to achieve the skills taught each week. She was great at troubleshooting and always offered us interesting and sensible suggestions to try if things weren’t working out properly. Each training lesson also included information about car safety, feeding our dog properly, tricks to perform or general answers to specific questions that people had about their dogs. Not only did we meet other dog owners to be acquaintances with, but we became familiar with their dogs on a first name basis. Each week was a highlight of the week for our pet as she knew exactly where we were going as we approached the building and each week would cry with a joyous anticipation in the back of the seat of the car. Erin forwards us via email the lesions learned which I found very helpful since it was not always easy for me to be attentive listener when I was attending to the needs of my dog at the same time. Agility class was another class that we enjoyed with Erin as our dogs skills for obedience improved. Trying all of the agility activates each week was great fun and exercise for Nicole, our dog, who surprised us tremendously with her score during the finale timed event. Agility class is perfect for the confident, competitive dog who enjoys involvement in new things. However, the most enjoyable times for me and for Nicole have been the socialization classes on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Dogs of varying sizes and personality come together to learn how to socialize with each other through play. It has helped me understand what dog play actually is and when noises and actions are actually just play and not fighting as I previously thought. The energy levels are often quite high at socialization where dogs enjoy having best friends and playmates just as humans do. I have seen shy, frightened dogs develop into friendly players over the course of weeks and from the guidance of Erin. As well, I have seen confident, active dogs develop more socially appropriate skills to make it easier for their owners. Most importantly, it gives our dog a chance for off leash play time in a safe environment with friendly dogs and responsible owners. By the end of a 45 minute session, every dog is tired our and ready for a big snooze. Play is very responsible way to let our dogs be dogs and enjoy life to the fullest! Groups vary each week as new participants join in and other leave when their needs have been met. Erin is extremely interested in the wellbeing of all dogs she encounters. She gets to know them personally and it is apparent that the dogs see her as a special person too. She makes positive changes happen with them and I have seen it firsthand and am so very impressed. Dogs respond when she talks and gestures with them. As my family continues to learn to be the best pet owners we can be, I am grateful for the helpful advice and programs offered by Erin and D’Arcy’s Dog Services.

Erin can help with so many different situations. She can assist with mid day exercising of your pet or cover fully if you are away. She has helped me with the care of my youngest dog when she had injured her leg. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else. Trustworthy, reliable and compassionate are words that come to mind when I think of Erin. My Pets love her. ,

We first met Erin when she was an assistant at a local dog training facility. We had just purchased a standard poodle pup and we needed assistance in training this breed. Erin became a wonderful resource, full of knowledge and provided a number of suggestions. We were immediately impressed with her dedication to our needs and the connection she had made with our dog. We have since completed our first set of classes at D’Arcy’s Dog Training and we continue to see the professionalism, dedication and advanced knowledge Erin possesses of the canine species. Based on her qualifications and personal touch Erin is a superior trainer. Erin is a trainer as well as a resource both inside and outside the classroom. She is very approachable and all questions are taken seriously. Most time, when we had a question, Erin provided us with verbal as well as written instruction. We now have a resource booklet that Erin provided. Erin stresses the importance that training is a lifelong commitment. Our dog, Dora senses our trip to training classes and she gets very excited. Dora thrives in the classroom because Erin uses the positive reinforcement approach. Not only do the dogs get trained but Erin also has a play period where the dogs have the opportunity to socialize. Our dog is becoming well rounded and we praise Erin for this success.

Our black lab puppy complete level one training with D’Arcy Dog Training and Pet Services in October 2006. I feel that Erin D’Arcy ran the classes very professionally. Our dog learned to sit, stay, come, lie down and settle in the class. The dog really enjoyed the classes, especially the play times. The classes were very friendly. I highly recommend the classes for other puppy owners.

Whoever said “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” almost certainly knew our dogs. Jasper who is 13, and Zoey who is 6 are spoiled and luckily have not had to spend time in a kennel…it would be  just too big a change. That’s where Erin comes in. Erin allows our “puppies” to stay at home on those occasions that we want to get away and can’t take them with us. She comes in to feed, walk, and play with them, and make sure they get settled at night, all in the comfort of their own home. Not only do we go away with confidence knowing they’re being well looked after, but there’s the added bonus of having our home looked lived in as well. Knowing your pets and your home are safe and secure is pure peace of mind; that’s what Erin provides. Thanks Erin!!

When we got our first puppy last year, we were anxious, first-time dog owners!  Our veterinary clinic recommended Erin to us and we are very grateful to have found her.  It is obvious that Erin loves what she does and that she has a great love for dogs.  Our dog loves her too! Erin’s classes are all small in size, allowing plenty of individual attention and help.  She includes time for questions in the classes and, as new dog owners, we appreciated that she is always happy to offer advice outside of class time.  Erin gives you the necessary tools and techniques to continue using at home in order to form your dog into a well-rounded individual, and she is a firm believer in positive training techniques. Erin’s dog-walking and dog-sitting services are also invaluable as she and our dog already have a good relationship and we can be sure that he would be well looked after, if left in her care.  We have completed all three levels of obedience training and beginners agility with our first dog, and we are now looking forward to doing it all over again with our new puppy!

What can I say about Erin that hasn’t been said many times in these other testimonials.  The services that Erin provides for our pets is much more than a career for her, it’s a passion, she has an innate bond with the animals from the first time she meets them.  Erin and I met when I moved to Cambridge in August of 2006, she was recommended to me by 3 different veterinary clinics in the area.  When I phoned around to ask if they could recommend someone to walk my dogs, Snoopy and Ruby, Erin’s name came up every time, you can’t argue with those odds. I find Erin extremely knowledgeable about dogs and dog behaviors, she is responsible, and dependable and loves her work.  If you have a problem or a question about your pets she will provide you with a possible solution, on many occasions more than one solution, she will find literature for you on that subject so you can read up on it. She notices differences in your pet’s behavior or demeanor before you, as the dog owner, do. Ruby is no longer with us and it was Erin who first noticed a change in her last summer which prompted me to take Ruby to the vet to get checked out, suffice it to say it didn’t end well and Ruby is no longer with us. Erin was sympathetic and understanding through that period and provided me with words of encouragement through it all. Erin now has the dubious pleasure of spending her entire 30 minute visit with my problem child Snoopy.  She has the patience of a saint as Snoopy is one headstrong beagle and it has only been since Erin has started walking and working with him that I have started to enjoy my walks with him, I see a huge change in Snoopy since August 2006 to now and I know that I have Erin to thank for that change. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to recommend Erin’s services to anyone that asks me. Thank you Erin for all that you have done for us over the past 2 1/2 years and we look forward to many more years.

I highly recommend Erin of Darcy’s Dog Training. She has been walking my dog Bear, for about a year and is extremely reliable and trustworthy. Initially I was surprised, because as a bonus, Erin also does some training, when she comes to take Bear out during the day.Not only is my dog better behaved now, but she is more enjoyable for me.

Erin has done a great job providing us with the necessary tools to train and lead our highly energetic Rottweiler, Penny. We have completed three levels of training throughout the past year and have seen an incredible difference in our dog. In the beginning, our puppy was shy and confused, but now she is outgoing and obedient. In such a short period, Penny has learned to be patient, loving and gentle. Erin has taught us how to teach Penny to listen to both verbal and non-verbal commands without hesitation. We have benefited from this experience immensely! Erin’s vast knowledge and expertise have helped us build a stronger bond with our dog, as well as a greater confidence not only in Penny but in ourselves as well.   Through her commitment and passion for animals Erin has helped our puppy mature into the loving and obedient dog she is today. We have and will continue to recommend Erin to other dog owners!!
Thanks Erin!   Penny, Jeri and Paul

Thanks to Erin, I have two very happy dogs when I get home!!  Erin comes to my home every day to walk and play with my two standard poodles Sidney and Bailey.  I cannot imagine what I would do without her.  Not only does she exercise them, she also helps with their training and behavioural problems.  She is a constant help and endless knowledge base.  No matter my question, she always has a helpful and easy to follow answer.  My “girls” absolutely adore her and look forward to her visit every day.  I cannot recommend Erin enough and your canine children will be so lucky to have her around!!

I highly recommend D’Arcy’s Dog Training. Erin D’Arcy has trained us! Elvis was a shy timid puppy; he has come such a long way with the training we received from Erin. We even put Elvis in agility and we could not believe his progress from week to week. It was unbelievable what he could accomplish. We are now in level 3 obedience and Elvis cannot wait to get to class. The whole experience with Erin has been a pleasure. She is kind and gentle and it shows in the way she handles the dogs and owners. I am constantly telling people how much fun we are having with the training and classes. I would recommend Erin to anyone who wants to have a positive experience with their dog. Sincerely,

I have known Erin for a long time through Cambridge Ringette. She has always had a love and passion for animals. Helping people with their pets is definitely her calling in life. I own a very excitable young lab, and I’ve noticed a huge difference after taking her classes. It’s helpful to have someone who cares about your outcome, working along side you. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to any behaviour questions. Which is heaven sent : )   Courtney Rideout

We put our German Sheppard puppy Duke in Puppy school with Erin Darcy and had a great time.

Erin gave us some excellent advice for socializing our puppy that we found extremely helpful and have encompassed these suggestions into our everyday life and are having a great time with our puppy, family and friends.

Erin also gave us great suggestions for food for Duke and we felt better prepared to select the right food for our dog. We didn’t realize the popular puppy brand that we were using was bad for Duke.
Thanks Erin!

We also love the basic training tips that we learned. We use them every single day and they are easy to follow. Even our 4 and 6 year old use these commands with Duke and he listens to them.

We enjoyed puppy school, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Our family recently added a new addition, a 3 month old Golden Retriever named Rosie Emma. This is our first dog and besides getting her the stuff that she needed, we immediately started investigating dog training services. We spoke to friends, neighbours and our vet to find out who they recommended as a dog training service. We were directed to Erin D’Arcy. Rosie was signed up for Level One immediately and has since completed it. Erin has been wonderful. We attended most classes with our twin four year olds to have them involved in the training. Erin was not only excellent with Rosie, but also with the twins and how to train all three. We found Erin to be informative, helpful and knowledgable. We believe our family is on the right path with Rosie and we’ll be signing her up for Level Two. Thank you Erin, for being an excellent guide in our new adventure.

Positive reinforcement; distraction rather than recognition of unwanted behaviour; kindness and thoughtfulness; excellent socialization strategies and opportunities ………..and a terrific example of all that is possible to achieve as exemplified by Erin`s dog, Irish.

I am SO pleased that D`Arcy`s Dog Training was recommended to me initially by my vet, Ainslie Animal Hospital. Cooper and I have learned so much; I with direction – Cooper with training. Our relationship is based on mutual trust – something that is quite lacking in some attitudes towards ownership of dogs in the regular stream and is very important to me.

I strongly suggest to caring and responsible dog owners that they try at least one great session with Erin.

Erin has walked my Airedale Terrier, Emma, for the past two years. An Airedale is not a low maintenance dog! She has handled Emma in a very professional manner and has made many improvements in Emma’s behaviour. Erin is very conscientious in her work and has been punctual and reliable in her walk schedule. Any changes in appointments were always made well in advance. Erin is well educated in the field of dog training and behaviour. She shows an honest and deep affection for her own dog and mine. I have no reservations about giving her my highest recommendation in this role. We highly recommend Erin, her knowledge, attentiveness, patience and love of animals is seen in everything she does. Also, her gentle “touch free” training methods are appreciated by both Gabby and us. , Charles and Gayle

Dear Erin:, , I just wanted to thank you for your excellent service of walking my two dogs while I recuperated from breaking my leg. Licorice (my 2 ½ year old border collie/lab cross) can be very excitable, but you handled her admirably. Hershey (my 6-year-old Labradoodle) just went along for the ride (or walk!) The pieces of advice that you game me were very helpful! I will definitely use your services again. Thanks again for all of your help! ,

We contacted Erin as we were experiencing some issues with our female Doberman Venus that we adopted when she was 3 years old. We originally thought she was showing some signs of aggression and dominance, but discovered from Erin that Venus was really a very insecure dog. Her insecurities came out even more when our male Doberman past away this year.  Erin has shown us, through consistent training and working on her confidence with other dogs, we can bring balance back into her life.  It is obvious to us, now, that Venus is a much happier dog when she has rules & boundaries every day in her life. ,
Because Erin could diagnose Venus’ personality correctly in the first home visit, we could then go on to training her in a way that she needed specifically.  Thank you Erin for all that you have done and continue to do for Venus!   ,

We enrolled in Darcy’s dog training when Laker was just 12 weeks old. We are so lucky to have met such a wonderful individual in Erin. I have never met a harder working, energetic and committed person ” a true animal lover”.

With Erins guidance, knowledge and positive reinforcement, Laker has become a well socialized, gentle, playful, loving part of our family. Erin is reliable, dependable and has well exceeded our expectations. Laker loves spending time with Erin and Irish and absolutely loves our forest runs.

Thank-you Erin I wouldn’t trust my boy with anybody else!!!

The first time I met Erin, Charlie my Lab had already known her for a few weeks; when Erin dropped by to walk him, I’ve never seen Charlie so happy to see someone.

A year ago, we had a 10 month old Lab cross and a new GSP puppy and needed help with training, socialization, and dog walking several times a week. Over the last year, Erin has been reliable, professional and knowledgeable. We took our Russel, our GSP, to Erin’s training school for both first and second level obedience classes, and found the experience both fun and informative.  She’s always had good advice, understands the way dogs think and understands how to teach us the skills required to train our dogs.

I highly recommend Erin Darcy’s Dog Training.

Erin first came into our lives in 2010. We were traveling to Alberta and needed
someone to care for our dogs. Our oldest one was terminally ill and the other was under a year old. The stress of a stay at a kennel would have been too much for both of them and was not an option. My vet suggested contacting D’Arcy’s Dog Training and Pet Services, as she would come into the home to care for pets. So, on his ecommendation I contacted Erin. What sold me on her was how professional she was. She arrived at my home thoroughly prepared. I was not just interviewing her; she was interviewing me. She asked many questions and took as much care as someone who was caring for a child. We agreed on 4 visits a day where she would feed and play with the dogs. On our return, we found two well cared for and content dogs. No bathing necessary. If you have done the kennel option, you know what I mean. It was wonderful.

I was so impressed with her that I then signed up for her training classes a year later for our new dog. She was like the Dog Whisperer. In a class filled with a half dozen puppies, she could monitor all their body languages and know when one was uncomfortable or needed correcting. She continually offered tips on how to encourage correct behaviours. But the classroom is not the only way to get her advice.

As anyone who owns a dog knows, there are often times when all training goes off the rails. After my two dogs got into a fight together I was left with an overly excited dog and a very fearful one. I called Erin for help. She spent a half hour on the phone reassuring me and offering information on how to fix the problem. Each week that I see Erin, she is always asking how the training is going and continues to offer help and suggestions.

To anyone who is looking to have a well balanced and behaved dog, I would highly recommend her services.

I highly recommend Erin D’Arcy’s Dog Training and Pet Services. Erin has an amazing understanding of dogs. She is very knowledgeable and was full of suggestions for tackling all sorts of problem behaviours dogs might have. She was enthusiastic and patient and provided a comfortable atmosphere for both my bog and I. I have a much better understanding of how my dog thinks and learns and loved the opportunities for my dog to socialize with other dogs in a safe facility. In addition I appreciated her gentle ‘touch-free’ approach.

When I first brought my puppy home, I thought training would be extremely stressful and difficult. Thanks to Erin, training my dog Callie has been a really fun experience that both my dog and I have enjoyed. Erin is patient, kind and really understands my dog’s needs. She is always available for questions and her classes provide lots of individual time with each dog. Needless to say, Callie is doing very well with her training thanks to Erin. I plan on taking my puppy through every level of Erin’s amazing training.

Erin has been walking our dog Holly for the past 3 years. She not only walks Holly when she is at our home, but practices obedience training with her as well. Holly loves working with Erin and sits by our front door waiting for her arrival. Erin is reliable, caring and it is obvious that she loves working with animals. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to work with their pet.

We wanted to give our Doberman puppy Chase the best start possible to ensure that we would have a friendly, loving and obedient pet that our family and friends would enjoy as much as we do. Enrolling him in Erin D’Arcy’s training class gave us the tools we needed for a great beginning. With professionalism and knowledge, Erin showed us how to teach Chase the basics using positive reinforcement and she always takes the time to help us with any other problems or concerns we have. Her classes are also a great opportunity for socialization. Chase gets to meet and play with dogs of many different sizes and breeds. We are confident that when we meet other dogs Chase will approach them in a friendly and playful manner. Erin is a genuine animal lover and it is clear to see in every class that she truly cares for our dog and wants the best for him – and Chase loves her too!,

I have had the pleasure of working with Erin D’Arcy for two years now. In that time she was responsible for training my dog in behaviour classes. Erin and my dog came 2nd in both classes. I have ribbons and certificates that I am very proud of. Erin also takes my dog on daily walks which my dog looks forward to everyday. I find Erin is very patient and kind with all animals she comes in contact with. Erin is very dependable, trustworthy, mature and polite and she is also very conscientious in all areas of her job works. I would certainly recommend Erin in any area that involves animals Gwen & Lizzy
